Development - Layout, Preview, Publication
Definition of the Layout
The layout is defined with the help of Cascaded Style Sheets (CSS) in the Repository. The intuitive you@web Development Wizard generates the respective CSS code based on selected layout properties. The user does not need any knowledge in this specific language.
In the form the user simply selects these pre-generated layout classes and allocates them to specific elements. This facilitates a simultaneous change in the layout of any number of forms.
Preview and Publication of Forms and Views
With a preview function the user is able to check the whole form or parts of it during the layout adjustments, enabling him to alter the form directly if the need arises.
To improve the performance, the user creates a cache document before the form goes live. This document contains nearly all the HTML code and ensures that, when the form is accessed, only dynamic functions have to be processed and field values to be entered.
