For every website it is of critical importance to analyze the reading habits of the users in order to know which content is in high demand and which holds apparently little interest.

To achieve this, several tools like WebTrends or AWStats have been developed. Domino-based content management systems, however, often have the disadvantage that the created log files contain the cryptic document IDs of the Notes documents, making analyses by standard tools quite undecipherable.

The you@web Log Connector transforms the Notes document IDs into the document titles of the web documents and thereby creates comprehensible analyses. The Log Connector accepts text files as well as domlog.nsf files as sources of information. The output always takes the form of a "Translated Webserver Log" in the universal ASCII format.
