The task of the Link Management is to report or best prevent the occuring of "dead" links that lead nowhere.

Whenever a content page is deleted, the you@web Link Management automatically checks whether this page is the target of a link on a different page. If this is the case, the author will receive a warning message that includes information about the link source. This mechanism actively prevents the occurance of corrupt links.

As an additional feature the you@web Link Checker periodically examines all internal and external links. A special view collects the corrupt links displaying them with information about the source documents. It is also possible to set up an automatic e-mail notification to the responsible author or administrator.
