Personalization

Web solutions present information customized to different target audiences. To achieve this, the Content Manager offers several personalization options.

Reader Groups
you@web allows for a clear allocation of user groups to specific documents. Persons that do not belong to a defined reader group neither see those documents in the navigation or sitemap nor in search results.

Individual Profiles
Via his profile the user is able to define topics of special interest. As soon as there is new content in the respective areas, he will receive an e-mail notifying him about it. Furthermore, an internal view of all relevant documents is created by the Content Manager for, e.g., the display in a portal.

Obligation Reader Processes
Working instructions or price tables are documents that are too important to wait for a user to stumble upon them. A definition of mandatory readers automatically creates an e-mail which is sent to all pertaining readers when a document is published or altered. At the same time a specific view of the obligation reader documents is created for integrating into a portal.

It is possible to customize these processes to, e.g., enforce an active notice and, if that is ignored, start an automatic renotification or escalation. This might be used to replace or optimize underwriting processes.

Visibility
Validity periods control the "best before date" of documents and make sure that outdated contents, e.g., documents dealing with past events, are automatically removed.

In addition to this it is also possible to exclude otherwise visible content individually from the navigation or the sitemap, in order to increase clarity and ease orientation.
