Content Maintenance
The strict separation of content and layout relieves the author of any worries about layout and design.
To maintain content regular knowledge about word processing is sufficient and the input for the editor is handled intuitively. The selection of the navigation area, language, and content type defines the complete layout. A detailed role concept controls whether and to which extent the author can influence the layout. Depending on this concept he will have access to specific buttons and options.

Standard Editor
If the author should format the text himself, the you@web Standard Editor provides a Word-like interface for word processing. Depending on the personalized settings, the author might be able to alter fonds and paragraphs, or insert and edit pictures, tables, and links. Pre-defined formats minimize input errors and guarantee, e.g., that accessibility is taken into account.
Office Integration
Very often web relevant content has already been stored in Office documents (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). The you@web Office Integration makes it possible that the editors can continue working in the source files. Finished documents are then simply integrated as an HTML copy into the content documents of the website.
Quick Edit
You have found an error on your website? Usually you call an editor or log into the editing interface, look for the respective content page and correct the mistake. The Quick Edit mode enables authorized users to switch to the input mode of a web content directly on the respective page.
Central Resources
Via a media database authors administrate graphics, audio, video, and download files easily and comfortably. Every element is saved centrally and can then be used whereever it is needed. Alterations made in the source document are therefore updated directly at any point of the web where this resource is used.
